Turkey Yellow Pages has launched a new service with partner vSplash that offers all Turkish businesses a Web page, domain registration, hosting and a mobile site, as well as geo-coding and a Google Analytics account, technical support and other services, all within a few days. The turnkey service is call My Splash Page. The publisher plans to charge Turkish SMBs the equivalent of about US$35 per month.

The opportunity in Turkey appears to be significant for whoever can find a scalable solution for bringing Turkish SMBs online. The country has roughly 35 million Internet users (the total population is about 77 million) and 86 percent mobile penetration. Yet, according to Turkey Yellow Pages, only about 15 percent of the more than 600,000 business listings in its database have a Web site. The company estimates only a fraction of a fraction would have a mobile optimized Web presence.
