I wish you would all get your facts right! We were told in June that if the company wasn't sold we would go into administration. Anyone thinking they were coming down to be told it had been sold was naive, you dont close a comapny for a day to give them good news!!!! in my 25 year history at the company and a number of sales it clearly wasn't the reason we were all called in. Furthermore it wasn't ALL field staff, a number of admin departments were affected too, On Wednesday I had to say goodbye to friends and colleagues I have known for half my life. Heart breaking for those that left and the people they left behind. But when push comes to shove over 300 jobs were saved!!!! And it wasn't Thomson Local who kicked te staff out it was the administrators.......that's there job! Tonight I am raising my glass to each and everyone of my colleagues affected and say to them "wish you were here"
