New to SMB Digital Marketing: Groupon, Yodle, Millennial Media+++

The SMB Digital Marketing conference in Chicago Sept. 17-19 is truly shaping up to be a cutting-edge event.

This week, we’ve added a number of top speakers to program that already includes such featured speakers as Alfred Mockett, CEO, Dex Media; Nathan Hanks, President, ReachLocal; Gail Goodman, CEO, Constant Contact; Patrick Barry, CRO, Demandforce;. David Kerr, GM, ecommerce, Angie’s List; Gordon Henry, VP, Deluxe Corp; Logan LaHive, CEO, Belly; Pam Springer, CEO, Manta; and Darnell Holloway, Leader, SMB Outreach, Yelp (to name just a few).

One of the “adds” that we are especially excited about is Groupon VP of Global Merchant Solutions Sanjay Gupta. Gupta’s role is to rev up the company’s merchant engagement efforts, which is clearly a critical part of the company’s future. He comes to Groupon from a prior role as CMO at Network Solutions Inc. and has been at the forefront of SMB digital marketing from the get-go.

Another top add is Henry Tam Jr., the Washington Post Digital innovator who has switched to the agency side as VP of Millennial Media, one of the hottest companies in mobile advertising. Tam joins a first-rate, Mike Boland-helmed mobile panel that also features SMB Commando Dick Larkin, who runs the innovative SMB text marketing program at American Marketing & Publishing, and App Express CEO Mary Beth Brendza.

We’re also excited to highlight Yodle CEO Court Cunningham, who will focus on one of our main themes: SMB marketing transformation. Transformation is also the theme of a special “precon” we’ve added being run by BIA/Kelsey’s Michael Taylor and featuring Axiom CEO Bob Sanders and Sales Transformation Now Cofounder Mike Centorani. And to top it all off, Local SEO Guide’s Andrew Shotland is set to give one of his patented presentations on local search (and ways to get ahead with local search and social media).

There’s so much more. Check out the whole agenda. You can register here.
