Along similar lines to what TeachStreet is doing is http://www.zocdoc.com/ which is combining the schedules of Doctors and Dentists with a Yellow Pages type directory.

I see that this could very well be the future of directories and/or local search, especially if you combine it with the likes of Siri. Imagine asking your phone to “book me into the closest doctor at 3pm” and it automatically does it for you. Now that would be powerful.
