Jamming on the Subway: There’s an App for That

From the Friday afternoon A/V department, here is a good lesson in viral marketing and also a glimpse of smartphone evolution. NYC band Atomic Tom shot a seemingly impromptu (though likely produced) subway jam session, using only iPhones as instruments.

The video below speaks for itself in terms of what is becoming possible with smartphones. As for local marketing, these guys are also smart by creating a viral video with a certain degree of wow factor. The already popular YouTube clip links to their songs on iTunes.
