Thanks for pointing this change out to your readers. 

I pick Google as the biggest inflexion point in this change. When Google appeared buyers had a tool to find the information they wanted without update meetings with sales people. A reason to meet with sales people disappeared. Sales people found it harder to get into the buyer&#039;s office. 

Now with social media buyers go further down the sales/buying cycle without ever talking to a sales person but rather talking to their peers. 

This change is what I coined the term &quot;Sales 2.0&quot; to represent. Fortunately it also represents the emergence of new tools and processes to &quot;level the playing field&quot; and equip sales people with new ways of &quot;getting in&quot;. 

These new ways require you to be smart and raise your selling game. That message is slowly getting out. Thanks for helping!
