Besides Millenial and Jumptap (mentioned in this story), I also follow Quattro Wireless (www.quattrowireless.com), 1020 (www.1020.com), and AdLocal (http://www.adlocal.biz) with great interest.

AdLocal platform just came out of beta, as announced by Cirius Technologies (www.ciri.us) on their site; I have had a chance to test drive (thanks to their $50 free trial promotion) and I must say that I am impressed. I can see that the savvy local advertisers will find it quite easy to engage with the mobile media.

And since we are talking predictions, I predict that the mobile media will take over the local media in the next 3 years (meaning that local business will move their ad dollars from print, billboards, street furniture, etc. to local-mobile advertising).
