I have been a WISP since 1999. I’ve watched this model fail mostly because it gets top heavy with corperate titles and names and forgets the core business is the little computer repair shop on the street corner.

This is a lesson I learned way too long ago and way too hard.

Making it work on the street will not take a MBA. It will take a street smart group of college drop outs. I know how to make it play, if your company can make it pay.

My two cents worth anyway after blowing a cool million doing this stuff for years.
