The interesting question on this, is whether it is simply demand driven or whether it is is the direct result of government interventions of one sort or another.
Too seldom is this information carefully and accurately recorded, leaving the status of research among the SME research community with little evidence or contribution to the body of knowledge.

Good point Rob. I’m going straight to the source to analyze this study further and check on its methodology. The Inc.com piece scratched the surface. I also want to determine the SMB’s definition (defined by headcount and/or revs) of small business.
