The New and Improved Yell.com
At our recent conference in Philadelphia, Yell Group’s Eddie Cheng sought us out to tell us about his company’s newly revised online directory, Yell.com, which Yell prefers to call a local search engine.
One of the new features Yell is touting is a mapping capability that allows users to plot a multitude of local features around a search. For instance, if you search for a Japanese restaurant in London, you can also plot nearby tube stations, Wi-Fi hot spots, taxi stands, parking garages, cash machines and so on.
While the mapping functionality itself is not all that new, the level of local information does set Yell.com apart, particularly in the U.K.
We will write about the relaunch in more detail in this week’s Local Media Journal.
What if I could show you how to make $25 in 7 minutes, over and over again, just taking simple surveys online from home, would you believe me.
