Cool Combines With Warm

Caribe Acquisition Holdings, the incumbent directory publishers in Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic, has purchased ACS Media Income Fund. ACS Media is the largest publisher of print and Internet directories in Alaska with 10 print titles throughout the state. The purchase price is US$168 million in cash and the repayment of US$35 million of ACS Media debt.

Caribe is backed by Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe, which has been involved in a large number of directory purchases including Dex Media.
