Yahoo! Partners With BT
Yahoo! announced today that it will partner with BT to bring 120,000 UK business listings to Yahoo! Local UK. The deal also positions Yahoo! to better serve UK local businesses with its YSM paid search platform, which now allows advertisers to target specific geographies in their SEM campaigns. According to this article today, the deal will also result in sponsored search results to the top and bottom of Yahoo! Local U.K. search engine results pages. There is limited information available about the deal, but we will continue to dig deeper and talk to Yahoo! and BT representatives to find out more about the ins and outs. Stay tuned for more.
