AT&T’s Rose to Talk Deals at DMS ’11
Todd Rose, VP of business development at AT&T interactive, has been added to the lineup of speakers at BIA/Kelsey’s upcoming DMS ’11 event (Sept. 20-22, in Denver). Deals will be the topic of our executive interview with Rose on Tuesday, Sept. 20, at 3:45 p.m.
Specifically, we’ll ask Rose about the challenges that an organization like AT&T faces in trying to build a deals product that competes effectively with Groupon, LivingSocial and others. We will also ask him to talk about AT&T’s strategy with its recently launched deals product, the pieces that are required to build a deals offering. Finally, we hope to get a glimpse into what the future holds.
DMS ’11: The Summit for Small-business Advertising Solutions is a truly original event, with a focus on how the small-business advertiser is evolving, and how the ecosystem serving that SMB advertiser is adapting to that change. DMS ’11 has its heritage in the directories industry, and it remains a key constituency for this event. Ultimately, what directory publishers, newspapers, local search sites, verticals and social media companies really care about is the same thing — how to win and keep the SMBs’ business.
